Band Bios

 

Dave Adams - Dave grew up in Schuylerville, a small town in upstate New York and makes his living providing technical expertise for the Littleton Public Schools. He’s been playing guitar and mandolin most of his life and provides Tanglewood  with the varied acoustic sound that gives this band its distinction. Dave also plays lap steel, harmonica, banjo, sings and is the author of some of Tanglewoods original offerings.

 

 

Jeanne Gibson - Jeanne has spent her life sharing her vocal talent. With the backing of a musical family she has performed in church, in concerts, clubs and on the road with a Christian folk-rock group. Jeanne adds the harmony lines to the vocal mix of Tanglewood  which allows the group the full vocal sound it’s getting known for. She also plays a number of percussion instruments, expanding the range of sound for a dramatic musical effect. Jeanne spends her non-musical time as a massage therapist at Aspen Park Chiropractic and is also a practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan. 

 

 

Dr. Doug Gibson - Originally from the "Bush" of Canada, Doug is the ultimate multi-tasker of Tanglewood. Playing acoustic and electric bass, guitar and contributing his vocal talent is only the start.  Doug’s exceptional harmonica work and his outstanding percussion talent launch him far and above most of those trying to compete with his talent. The combination of his work ultimately sculpts the Tanglewood  sound. Off stage you can find this affable Canadian practicing Chiropractic at Aspen Park Chiropractic.

 

 

Scott Forsythe - Being the newest member of the Tanglewood band, Scott has brought some fantastic "fills" to the band. Having known Tom since childhood, Scott has played in a variety of bands with Tom using his multiple guitar talents and vocal abilities. In Scott's professional life, he is a consultant for Contact Wireless.
